Tours for both groups are up on the Tours page now, enquiries coming in for Waldkirch, which will be by rail, four days and an extension by local coach, and the Model Engineers are back for Konstanz next year so I will post that when I have arranged and confirmed the details with them, the only way is up Possums!
Well times are changing and I am feeling more invigorated as the days go by. The MOOS tour will be up by GDSF and the MBSGB have one planned for July next year so I will lad that as soon as they tip me the wink. I had an enquiry from Australia about Waldkirch and I will be planning that trip sometime in the not too distant future.
Just to keep you posted!
On the drawing board, back soon. Linda xx
Congratulations to Alan, Jonny and all you guys and girls involved in the event last weekend which was a great success from all that I have heard, I was proud of you and gutted to miss it but having gone for a health check in my car and not done too well, I even tried to buy a new one in time for the trip only to be refused credit because according to one of the big agencies that I expired in 2014! Needless to say I am sorting that out and it isn’t proving easy…………..
Anyway it was Alan who told me on my birthday during the LAST TURN in Geraardsbergen that he wanted to call me Melody now not H&H so Diss was the kick up the butt that I needed…
SO, after quite a few comments about people looking for me, something I apologise for but honestly hadn’t cared about for a while, with Boz gone I finally got the message, and I thought I had better put this up to say that I am still in business for anyone who is wondering where I am.
History in Harmony will come to the end of it’s “shelf life” later on this year after Waldkirch…that’s hard to explain, but let’s just say that Boz and I were connected through the heart and that connection needs to be cemented half way across Lake Konstanz in June as it was opened on a windy day early in February 2002. One day I will be able to explain what I mean by that but not until I have experienced it! In the meantime I normally put on a good floor show if you happen to be on a tour with me, just ask one of our regulars…….
So Walkirch and Lake Konstanz are booking up and the last two old itineraries are on the tours page which still have space on them. I have 10 rail tickets and many seats on the coach for anyone who wants a longer trip particularly you single travellers.
After that it will be off to pastures new with MBSGB who are running their first trip with me in September (I can put you in touch if you feel like it) they will be going to the Pianola Museum and Perlee Organ works along with Utrecht, the Old Faithful and after that it will be the Model Engineer Show on Lake Konstanz, itinerary up later this week, and then a programme of things which will come to me on the ACTIONS page.
That’s it for now, need to get this up and running, so again well done DISS team and wish me luck as I try to reboot myself, literally! Linda xx
