Finally I am going home on 22nd January, and so I have a new address and contact details on the contact page. I am going to be working on the MOOS AGM and my new request for Les Gets now, before figuring out what else I am supposed to do. It’s a lovely part of the world INSTOW, on the estuary near Westward Ho so I am hoping to get back on my feet and learn to eat again, with a bench I can sit on and eat an ice cream every two minutes along the river, ho ho ho, thanks for all your well wishes this Christmas you have all made life so much more bearable, love you all Linda
Hi all, back from the MOOS tour, scrawny and knackered and now it’s really time for change, so while I am going through it I’m gonna use this site as a vehicle to try and describe my experiences over the last few years as although it’s looked pretty ghastly from an outsiders point of view it’s really been a journey about merging myself with my higher self and the planet which is in transition. As half of you think I’m nuts anyway I don’t care any more so I will get these old fingers tapping and see what I have come up with.
This job is, though (travel) the one I love, so the Cornish Explorer is on the tours page now. Just email me if you want a booking form and I’ll send you one. Dordrecht’s up there too, with an extension to Germany this year.
Back soon, Linda x
Hi all, final details are either on email or in the post today for the tour November so if you haven’t had them yet then please give me a shout!
Also I have made arrangements for the MOOS AGM at the Mullion Park Holiday Camp and to reserve a caravan or chalet the company requires a £50 non refundable deposit so please send me a note if you wish to reserve and I will start the wheels in motion.
That’s it, Dordrecht up later Linda xxx
Hi all, long time no speak, just an update to say that the MOOS tour is now on 41 if you are thinking of booking I have only a few seats left. The Freidrichshafen Model Engineering Exhibition has been closed out now so any further bookings are on request with flight only option until next year when we will run a new coach tour.
Dordrecht will now be a week long tour with a visit to the Rhine Valley and Waldkirch in the Middle, ending with Arnehm Open Day before returning after that. I am just finalising the itinerary and will post is up on site shortly.
Off to the Netherlands with the MBSGB so until next time, love to you all, Linda xxx
Well I now have a personal trainer at a fantastic gym in Crediton courtesy of Force and I’m enjoying water aroebics and I really feel as if I am on the way up at last, like a kid just let into a play area……. I know you have all watched me staggering around like I was half dead and it’s been the hardest slog of my life but I knew I had to keep going until the time was right and will get on the next coach not looking like I need an ambulance any time soon, so thanks for all your support it has been appreciated indeed.
In the meantime the Model Engineers have started booking flights into Zurich, but we can collect you from anywhere else you like, Basel airport or railway station are cheap and easy, and I will make the add on bookings for you so let me know if you want a quote. Incidentally I recently visited the National Transport Museum in Lucerne which will be the optional excursion on Saturday and it was a fantastic experience…
The Music Box Society GB are booking regularly so that tour is coming along nicely too.
The MOOS tour is currently on the drawing board and I’m enjoying planning that one again. For next year I am thinking Dordrecht and Dijon (not together) along with a trip to the Rhine and Waldkirch out of festival season for those who love the music and the building. 2019 will see Les Gets so put that in your diary if you want an adventure into the mountains again.
That’s it back soon, love to you all, Linda from Devon xxxxxxxxxx
